Title Soccer

Introduction

Soccer is the one of the most famous game in sports world,  I been hearing about soccer since i’ve been toddler. Soccer is the game where anyone is welcome to play and watched by little kids and elders. Its also a very favourite sports for  teenagers.                 

Big Idea 1  

Soccer is over 3000 years old. It is made up of  two teams with 11 players in each team. Soccer is played by 250 million players in over 200 countries, making it  the world's most popular sport.

Big Idea 2

Do you know how much money they give you in soccer. The pro players get over 1 million dollars, medium players got $500, 000 and a beginner get $80,000 every year.

Big Idea 3

What is the best soccer player? At the moment, these players are rated as the top 5. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo,  Luis Suarez,  Neymar  and Sergio Aguero. And the best out of all I think is Messi and Cristiano.

Concluding Statement

Today I have told you why I like to watch and play soccer. You should have a game with your friends sometime.

The Mighty Gorilla

Gorillas live in Africa.

What do Gorillas look like?

The gorilla is huge, with broad chest and shoulders. The arms are longer than the stubby legs.  The fully adult male mountain gorilla is twice as large then the female.  Gorillas have large head, they  are really hairy and they have super large teeth.

What do they eat?

Gorillas eat lots of vegetables, bamboo and leaves.  Gorillas need lots of food .  Gorillas are vegetarian and only eat plants .The plants they eat are leaves bamboo and wild celery.

What do Gorillas look like?

They have a thick trunk ,a large head and shiny black hair and  big muscles. They grow up to 6 feet tall.  Gorillas can live up 50 years. They use their hands to play explore and investigate.

Where do gorillas live?

They live in dense forests and  woodlands in Africa and they live in places

that are 10,000 ft  in the mountains. Up in the  mountains it is cloudy , misty and cold.

Gorillas live up in the high mountains and are very intelligent. Gorillas are very smart and they  use tools to find food .I like that the Gorilla is such a smart animal  not like other animals.

Today is  Race Relations Day at Owairaka school we have all dressed up from different cultures. We had a special assembly and some children said a special greeting in their own language.

Beginning                               

Many years ago, a merchant had six daughters. The first five were born when business was good, and he spoiled them rotten.

Middle

Beast, where are you?” she called as she hurried through the echoing halls in search of him. She recalled his words. She rubbed the ring and in an instant she was transported back to the palace.
